Visitors to Essex Wildlife Trust at Mucking will have a treat on Saturday 11th August.

From 9am to 4pm members from Thurrock Amateur Radio Club, known as “Acorns”, are setting up a temporary amateur radio station and will be on hand to demonstrate how it all works and answer questions.

Licensed operators will be using a variety of radio techniques to communicate with other amateurs around the world.

Amateur Radio is accessible to all ages.
